We tried to compare different building survey methods – focusing on the façades in this case. The study was based on the former Lágymányosi Tobacco Factory. In 2016 a survey of the building was started in order to preserve the architectural values of the building. We concluded that while different survey methods have different accuracy, this is not the only difference between them. Some architectural features – such as railings – tend to disappear.
